Vinicius Jr Offers Apology to The Madrid Club Supporters
The forward has registered 5 finishes in ten domestic competition outings during the current campaign.
The Madrid giants forward Vinicius Jr has expressed regret to the fanbase for his reaction when substituted in the recent fiery match against Barcelona win.
He was replaced in the 72nd min and showed his disappointment by going straight down the tunnel.
Vinicius eventually reappeared to the dugout and, following his side's 2-1 victory, sought to engage Barcelona's youngster Yamal during contentious after the game scenes.
"Now I want to say sorry to all the supporters for my reaction when I was substituted in the Clasico," the player posted on his account.
"Just as I have said in person during this morning's session, I would like to express regret anew to my team-mates, the organization, and the leadership.
"Occasionally passion overcomes me because I constantly desire to succeed and assist my team. My winning mentality comes from the passion I feel for this club and all it symbolizes."
The player signed for Madrid from Flamengo in 2018 for a significant fee and has notched 111 goals in 335 appearances.
But his future in the La Liga is unclear with reports in recent months stating that the club would consider letting the 25-year-old depart if they obtained a appropriate bid.
When the winger was taken off on Sunday, cameras from network the service picked him up stating: "It's always me! I'm leaving the team! It's better if I go, I'm leaving."
In his latest post on the platform, he stated: "I promise to keep striving constantly for the good of Los Blancos, as I have acted since the first day."
